The Silk Road Spice Merchant is a family business started in 2008 after realizing that it was difficult—if not impossible—to find the spices, herbs and chiles they needed for certain recipes. One recipe would often mean trips to several different stores and led the Silk Road team to wonder why there wasn’t one specialty shop that had every kind of spice imaginable. Eventually, they decided to open that shop themselves. All of their spice blends are hand-mixed and have been developed, tested, and perfected by them!

The Silk Road offers a complete range of spices, herbs, chiles and seasonings from around the world and takes great care in sourcing the finest products available. Spices are purchased regularly and in small batches to ensure that everything is as fresh as possible. They grind their own spices fresh whenever possible, and all their blends are hand-mixed without using cheap fillers.
