Yum Bakery

Formerly the Bakery @ the Market this tried and true family business is run by David and Debbie Catling and frequently staffed by some of their seven children. With more than 50 years experience in the food industry between them, the Catlings are former owners of The Stock and Sauce. Seeing a hole that needed to be filled, the Catlings decided to open an authentic artisan bakery inspired by the French and West Coast boulangeries. Specializing in potted desserts and French macarons, it is their breads that the Catlings are the most proud of. From fig and fennel to four cheese foccaccia, David says the key is the 5 consistent ingredients: flour, water, yeast, salt and most importantly – time.
