A Taste of Quebec

For Claire Duchesne, it all started with cheese curds. A native Quebecer, Claire came to Calgary in 1996 and found herself missing home and the delicious culinary treats of her homeland. Eventually, she began selling poutine-style cheese curds, creton and other traditional Quebecois treats to friends, averaging 90 kilograms of cheese curds a week. A Taste of Quebec has been with the market since 2004 and has expanded their product line substantially. From tourtiere to sugar pie, homemade maple fudge to spruce beer, A Taste of Quebec lives up to their name, providing a taste of home for some and an exciting new taste for others. Be sure to taste Claire’s favourite – authentic pecan pie.
