We’re Looking for Christmas Market Vendors!

Calgary’s favourite farmers’ market is transforming into the Calgary Christmas Market from November 16th – December 23rd, 2017! The Calgary Christmas Market will host 90 vendors carrying unique locally made holiday gifts, jewelry, décor and more. The Calgary Christmas Market is the ultimate destination to find everything for under the tree and on the table this upcoming holiday season.

We’re looking for unique Christmas products to add to our Calgary Christmas Market from November 16 to December 23, 2017.

All applications must be submitted by 5pm September 3rd, 2017.

9th Annual Chili Cook-off

It’s time to get your cowboy hats on and put your taste buds to the test to crown the 2017 Chili Champion. We’ll be serving up chili in support of the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank’s, Put the Boots to Hunger Campaign.
Come on down to the market July 14th & 15th from 11am - 3pm*, make a cash donation to the Calgary Interfaith Food Bank and try the 6 delicious chilis. Vote for your favourite and be entered to win a gift basket filled with items from the Calgary Farmers’ Market.

The 6 delicious chili’s are:
• Big T’s Smokehouse: Can’t Beat my Meat Brisket Chili
• Chef’s Earth: Prairie Moon Harvest Chili
• Frank & Mabel’s: Mabel’s Mouth Melter Chili
• Hearts Choices (Vegan): Where’s The Beef? Vegan Chili
• Silver Sage Beef: Chili Bean is Not my Lover Chili
• Stock and Sauce Co: Smokin’ Hawaiian Chili

Who will be this year’s chili champion? Help us decide and make a difference to those in need this Stampede.

The Chili Cook-off will be located in between Big T’s and Innisfail Growers. Please come early as supplies are limited.

The Calgary Food Bank is able to take cash, credit card, or food donations.

Canada Day at the Market

The Calgary Farmers’ Market invites you to celebrate Canada’s 150th with local food, local music, and local beer too!

Join us for some patriotic fun on Saturday, July 1st that gives back to the community we love so much. In partnership with Big T’s Smokehouse, we’ll be hosting a beer garden in support of the Calgary Food Bank. You’re invited to enjoy beer from Trolley 5, Common Crown, Half Hitch, and the much-loved (and gluten-free!) Meadjito from Fallentimber!

Take in live local music from Alma Lu Alma, Steel and Timber, New Law, Vagrant Souls, local beer, and BBQ from 11am-4pm on Saturday, July 1st on our SE patio.

AND to ensure you have a safe ride, we’ve partnered with Uber for our Canada Day Beer Garden. Use code: CFMCanada150 to receive your first ride free, up to $15 (new users only).
