Frozen Fun Day

Frozen Fun Day
Saturday, January 23rd 10 am- 1 pm
Join us for some wintry indoor fun at the Calgary Farmers’ Market in partnership with Strategic Group & Project Warmth.

We’re bringing winter inside with live ice carving demonstrations on the stage. Watch as they cut away at the large slabs of ice and turn them into beautiful sculptures. Meet Anna and Elsa from Frozen and take your own photos or selfies with them. Watch out for Jack Frost the Magician roaming the market with his icy up close magic tricks. These activities will take place around the market from 10 am- 1 pm.

Don’t forget to bring your donation of gently used winter clothing to ensure everyone stays warm this winter. Project Warmth and the Strategic Group will be onsite giving away free tea, coffee and doughnuts in exchange for donations of jackets, blankets, mitten, toques, scarves, socks and other items to help keep those in need warm. Donations will be accepted at the Project Warmth booth located in the food court by the stage from 9 am- 5 pm.

Project Warmth Day

Strategic Group and the Calgary Farmers’ Market are partnering for Project Warmth Day 2016. We will be hosting a table at the market on Saturday, January 23 from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. where we will be collecting warm clothing donations for the Project Warmth Society of Alberta and handing out free coffee and donuts to those who donate.
As you make room for new gifts and may want to donate old and gently-used clothing, think of Project Warmth Day and join us for a fun-filled day!
